Dukes' to expand office space by almost double
We're excited to announce that the planning permission to extend our office space in Stone, Staffordshire has been approved.
The extension will be utilising 220 sqm of our warehouse space that we seldom use due to the changes in legislation for the Taking Control of Goods Act, 6 April 2014.
The extension is set to double the size of our call centre, and provide space for other amenities such as a 3rd kitchen, toilets and another staff room. The extension comes at a brilliant time for Dukes, as it means the whole office structure can be reviewed, and we can map out a better workspace for all of our employees.
All equipment and suppliers that we will use for the extension will be locally sourced (where possible). This as part of our commitment to working with local businesses, and reducing our carbon footprint.
Sarah Naylor comments “It’s an exciting time for us all at Dukes. As a company accredited with Investors in People Gold status, we’re committed to developing our staff and creating an exciting, safe and supportive place to work.”
We plan for the recruitment of jobs created to begin in February 2017.
