At Dukes, we love raising money for charity, and we love food. Last week we co-hosted a Macmillan Coffee Morning at Dukes HQ with our lovely colleague, Nikki.

Sadly, Nikki’s father passed away 18 months ago after being diagnosed with Terminal Cancer. Having witnessed how much support Macmillan provide, Nikki was keen host a coffee morning to raise as much money as possible and the Dukes team were keen to show their support.

Nikki baked an array of delicious cakes including her legendary ‘Oreo Truffles’ which went down a storm! Other members of the team donated savoury bites and other sweet treats including homemade cheesecake.

To help with the fundraiser, we also received a donation of handmade decorative bottles from a colleagues’ wife. These were sold to the team, which raised an additional £135 for MacMillan.

With the sales of the cakes and bottles combined, Nikki has been able to raise £260.00 for a fantastic charity, in memory of her father.
