The team attended the IRRV Annual Conference

Last week some members of our team attended the IRRV Annual Conference in Telford on behalf of Dukes. The conference ran from the Tuesday – Thursday with the Performance awards taking place on the Wednesday night.

The performance awards looked to build upon the successful schemes of recent years. There were nine categories in 2022; three 'Team' and six 'Excellence'. This year we sponsored the  ‘Excellence in education and / or staff development’ award and were thrilled to present this to the winners; our client, Anglia Revenues Partnership, who were up against Ashford Borough Council and Folkestone and Hythe District Council.

The conference was a great opportunity for our team to network and catch up with our existing clients and other industry professionals. We are proud that our Client Partnership Manager, Julie Smethurst IRRV (Hons), was asked to deliver a presentation on Vulnerability of Business Rates to Fraud as well as chair various sessions.

Our marketing team organised and hosted our second Dukesfest – Wild West Dukesfest, which was a hoedown to remember.

We will be attending the IRRV Spring Conference in Leeds, next May, before returning to Telford for the IRRV Annual Conference 2023.

If you were at the event and didn’t get a chance to speak to a member of our team, drop a message to our Client Relationship Managers, Matt Eden or Simon Neal on LinkedIn, and they will be able to assist you.
