We hosted our first in-house training since the Pandemic, in 2020!

This month we were pleased to host our first in-house training session at our Head office since the Pandemic began in 2020! Our Client Partnership Manager, Julie Smethurst, has led virtual training over the years but was pleased to be back providing training in a real classroom environment for delegates from Basingstoke & Deane. The training, as requested by the council, focused on Committal Proceeding whereby Julie covered legislation and case law, the prehearing process, the means inquiry hearing and monitoring and reviewing.

The training was a full day session, with the afternoon spent examining and reviewing case studies to explore what had been learnt in the morning session. This presented the opportunity for the members to put their knowledge to the test but also gave them an environment to challenge anything they had learned and ask questions.
