We’ve retained Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation
At Dukes we’re committed to ensuring data protection and cyber security is in place.
Earlier this month we secured the Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation for a second year running. Since last year, the testing has changed significantly so we are thrilled to be re-awarded with this certification.
What is Cyber Essentials?
Cyber essentials gives protection against a wide variety of the most common cyber-attacks. Cyber-attacks come in many shapes and sizes, but the vast majority are very basic in nature, carried out by relatively unskilled individuals.
This Government backed certification scheme is designed to show an organisation has a minimum level of protection in cyber security through annual assessments to maintain certification.
There are two levels of certification, Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus. Cyber Essentials Plus requires a technical audit of the systems and consists of an external vulnerability assessment, an internal scan, and an on-site assessment. This is to ensure no vulnerabilities exist.
Since our establishment, almost 30 years, we have provided our customers and clients full protection of their data and we are proud that we have never experienced a breach. With our new certification, we continue to reassure our stakeholders that we are completely IT compliant and all data that we receive is protected.
