Introducing Ian Ferguson IRRV HONS, MA Client Development Manager

We’re kicking off the New Year with a new family member joining the team. 💙

Earlier this week, Ian Ferguson IRRV HONS, MA joined us in the role of Client Development Manager. Ian will be working closely with our clients to deliver training, and he will be networking with new and potential clients to build our brand in the North.

This role is a new challenge for Ian, following 40 years working in the public sector, specialising in Revenues and Benefits. He is well known within the industry, following his involvement with the Institute of Revenues and Rating association. In 2016/2017 Ian was National President, and until last year, he sat on the National council. For a number of years, he was also the chair of the Commercial Services committee.

Ian is based in the County Durham, where he is the local president of the IRRV Northern Counties Association, and the Education Liaison Officer. Education and training are subjects Ian is passionate about. In his spare time, he is a tutor for the IRRV’s Certificate and Diploma examinations, and he is responsible for tutoring certificate students in the North East.

When he’s not at work, you’ll find Ian supporting Middlesbrough FC with his wife or playing golf.
