About our partnership
We proudly mark eight years of a successful partnership with Denbighshire County Council (DCC), a collaboration continually exceeding traditional service boundaries. Throughout this journey, we have gone above and beyond by sponsoring industry events for council staff, providing professional training, and piloting our innovation workshops. This dedication to exceeding expectations is echoed throughout the contract, with our partnership flourishing thanks largely to Caroline Gray, DCC’s dedicated Client Relationship Manager.
Our commitment to the contract goes above and beyond the standard. A prime example of this dedication is our CRM, Caroline, who has collaborated closely with the Council throughout her entire distinguished career with Dukes. As a Denbighshire local, Caroline continues to provide an unmatched level of service to the Council, which started upon her employment at Dukes 6 years ago.
Partnership working at its finest
As the lead Client Services Administrator for this contract, Caroline helped us launch our 'rent-a-desk' program. This initiative was instrumental in our great partnership with the council. By embedding Caroline within Denbighshire’s revenues and benefits team, we not only fostered close collaboration but also provided financial support to the council through the rental arrangement. This initiative garnered shortlisting for the IRRV’s 2019 ‘Excellence in Innovation’ award due to its unique approach to partnership working and evolved work methodologies. Under Caroline’s leadership, the Council consistently achieved and even surpassed their KPIs, earning them the coveted title of ‘Revenues Team of the Year'.
In 2023, we promoted Caroline to Client Relationship Manager, where she took the lead on managing this account. Caroline emphasises that "living in Denbighshire helps with understanding any challenges they may face, understanding the community, and strengthens our relationship." Her local insights and experience continue to reinforce our strong partnership with DCC, helping us foster mutual understanding and collaboration.
This close-knit relationship has fostered trust and ongoing collaboration between Dukes and DCC, with Kerri Cooper, Revenue Manager at DCC expressing that the team “love working with Dukes and have developed excellent working relationships over the last eight years of our partnership.”
We are looking forward to many more years of working closely together, continuing our efforts to recover debt efficiently, effectively, and ethically!
